Theodore Teddy McRae

Theodore Teddy McRae, 60, of Southern Pines, was born to the late Robert Lee and Clara McRae  on July 28, 1963, in Patterson, New Jersey. Theodore passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at First Health Moore Regional hospital in Pinehurst as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McRae was preceded in death by his brother Tony McRae and sister Gloria McRae. He leaves to cherish his memories; sisters, Doris Jones of Southern Pines, Jean McRae of Southern Pines, Sybil Kelly of Aberdeen, and Barbara Simmons of Southern Pines;  brother Lucious Cuff of Pinebluff, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 455 Woodgreen Drive, Aberdeen, NC 28315. A memorial and balloon release will be held on Saturday, September 23, at 3:00 p.m. at 7554 Hwy 15-501, West End, NC 28376.
