Larry Donnell Johnson

Larry Donnell Johnson, 62, of Hoke County, transitioned on Friday 12-16-22 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, N.C. He was the son of the late Charles Mclean and Lois Mclean.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, December 23, 2022, at Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters located at 10225 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC 28376. A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family will be receiving friends Sunday through Thursday at Tabernacle Outreach Deliverance Ministry Center, 4155 Big Oak Church Rd, Eagle Springs, NC.

Larry was a very humble, gentle, loving, kind soul. He was also a very good provider for his family. He joined Tabernacle Outreach Deliverance Ministry and was an active member. He attended Hoke County High School where he was a proud “class of 1977” graduate. Larry worked and held a variety of jobs and positions during his lifetime.  

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Lois Mclean of Rockingham; fiancé, Ms. Barbara Ann Wright; three children, Rashika Bullard, (Jamie) Fayetteville, N.C, Jamachia Wright, Sanford, N.C and Davon Wright (Leslie), Louisville, Kentucky; three brothers, Charles, Johnson (Eula) Raeford N.C, Marvin Johnson, Wadesboro, N.C and Boris Mclean, Rockingham N.C.; three sisters, Lauren Chambers (co- pastor Alfonso Chambers), Edith Mclean Rockingham, NC, Olivia Campbell (Bobby), Wagram, N.C.; five grandchildren, Ontavia, Larena, James, Breana and Gabriella; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Professional services have been entrusted to Kearns Memorial, Maxton, NC.
