Larry Bernard Baker Jr.

Larry Bernard Baker Jr., age 30, of Rochester, New York, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Larry was born on June 5, 1994, in Durham, NC to the late Lary Bernard Baker Sr. and Mary Ann Gibson-Baker.

Baker leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved companion, Jannie Patterson; children, Jah’Ni Baker, Larry Bernard Baker III, Zah’Kai Baker; sister, Khendra Baker; step father, Jerry Chavis; niece and nephews, Nor’Riece Jones, Car’Rie Jones and Nevaeh Jones; aunts and uncles who were close to his heart, Annie Quick, Edith Morrison, Carolyn Askins, Maxine Baker, Dianne Monroe, Julie Baker, Mildred Webb, Illie Baker Sr., Brent Baker, and Thomas Gibson; special cousins, Katara Mixon and K’Nai Mixon along with  a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2:00 pm at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson Hamlet, NC. Burial will follow in the Jackson Hamlet Community Cemetery. No Public viewing will be held.

Professional services have been entrusted to Kearns Memorial, Maxton.
