James Edward Williams Jr.

Mr. James Edward Williams Jr., 61 of Southern Pines, NC, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Mr. Williams was a US Army Veteran. After his time in the Army, Mr. Williams was a dedicated employee at Beefeaters restaurant in Southern Pines and Cutler Tree Service. He loved music, spending times with his friends and to work out in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Williams Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 40 years, Elizabeth Williams; children, Tashia Williams and Isaiah Williams; granddaughter, Temari Hailey; mother, Joyce Smith; best friend, Stevie McAllister, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Christ Way Community Church, 15767 US 15-501. 

Professional Services have been entrusted to Kearns Memorial, Maxton.
