Elizabeth Oates-White

Elizabeth Oates-White, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Apex on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with her daughter, son-in-law, and loving family by her side. She was born on May 1, 1935, in Southern Pines, NC, to the late Alberta and Carlin Oates. 

Elizabeth was a devout Jehovah's Witness who loved music, dancing and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Rodney White. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Jerrie Reaves (Bruce), Rhetta White, Freda Hooper. Son, Jayell White, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Friday, August 2, 2024, 12:00pm - 5:00 pm at Kearns Memorial, 22421 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Maxton, NC 28364. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, 3:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6045 Sunset Lake Rd., Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
