Darrius Ontario Lloyd

Mr. Darrius (Dee) Ontario Lloyd was born to the late Carol Dale Lloyd McLaughlin and Darius Lee McLaughlin on April 5, 1971. Darrius gained his wings on Friday, September 16, 2022, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Darrius grew up in the Moore County school district. He loved everyone and accepted you as you were. He had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. Darrius was a great person overall that loved to work. Darrius met his wife Tashara on July 4, 2018, and they were married on April 10, 2020.

Darrius leaves to cherish his precious memories; wife, Tashara Lloyd; four children, Jaquawn Alford, Qua’darius Barnes, Talayah Ratliff, and Tony Ratliff; one grandchild, Ashton Alford; three sisters, Latoya Allbrooks (Jamaad), Caramella “Millie” Ross, and Tracy Ross; four brothers, Zebulon Taylor (Stephanie), Wayne Ross, Marcus McLaughlin (Evelyn) and Raymond McLaughlin; special aunt, Rochelle Nichols; best friends, Phillip Roberson and Jawan Little, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A viewing will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Kearns Memorial, 22421 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Maxton, NC 28364. The family will hold a private Memorial. Services have been entrusted to Kearns Memorial, Maxton, NC.
