Charles Preston Diggs was born July 11, 1967 to Pastor Fred and Mary Terry of Laurinburg, NC. He departed this earthly life on October 2, 2024 at Morrison Manor Hospice facility.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Lizzie Mae Diggs; His parents, Pastor Fred and Mary Terry of Laurinburg, NC; seven Children, Tareka Austin of Laurinburg, NC, Ashea (Jaquiel Reuben) Washington of Fayetteville, NC, Prestacia (Corneilus) Sinclair of Fayetteville, NC, Sade Sexton of Laurel Hill, NC, Malika Sexton of Fayetteville, Laquisha Diggs of Fayetteville, NC, and Preston Washington; two bonus children, Tamika Pittman, and Lamonty Pittman both of the home; Two brothers, John (Antoinette) Diggs and Richard Diggs; Five sisters, Mary Smith, Karen Braddy, Wanda Graham, Rita Smith, and Teeka Waters; Mother and father in law, Corina and Clinton Pittman; Sister in laws Martha (Cornell) York, special sister-in-law Linda (Herbert) Pittman, Michelle (Marvin) Pittman, Brenda (Michael) Pittman and Dianne (Chad) Pittman; Three brother in laws Clinton (Linda) Pittman Jr., Len (Castell) Pittman and Tyquan (Shelton) Robertson. God children Kyha, Tykeal, Princess, Aniyah and Jameer; Special nephews, Monte, Rosszel, Jonte and Devontae of the home. 34 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A public viewing will be held 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Kearns Memorial, 22421 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Maxton, NC 28364. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024 at First Thessalonian Missionary Baptist Church in Gibson, NC.
